A.L.I.A.S. originates from the South Bronx, NY but music is also influenced from his time spent in Miami, FL, Atlanta, GA as well as the west coast Los Angeles, CA. His first album “The World Ain’t Ready! Chapter I: Rise to Power” symbolizes the internal conflicts many of us face in surviving in the world, becoming a product of our environment, our burning ambition & passions and our most noblest desires to reach our fullest potential and be our best selves; this is the universal struggle of life!
A.L.I.A.S. is a creative and witty lyricist from “Worldz Finest Enterprises” an independent label focused on providing fun and interesting music. A.L.I.A.S. debut album entitled “The World Ain’t Ready! Chapter I: Rise to Power” takes you through a journey of joy, sadness, desperation, love, hope and the many ups and downs of life! It is a blend of old school hip-hop, street music, east coast, west coast and dirty south. A.L.I.A.S. has influences from all these styles from direct experience from living in all these areas. From New York to Atlanta, L.A. to Miami, W.F.E. began as a very loose network of individuals who simply loved hip-hop music. From the very beginning, these individuals experienced the birth of hip-hop straight from the streets of the South Bronx. From first working as crate boys for greats such as Grandmaster Flash and Melle Mel from The Furious Five; to throwing park jams, block parties, and shows involving MCing, DJing, and breakdancing. These experiences would lead to writing, performing, and producing. W.F.E. has grown and built a following from the East Coast to West Coast from Mid-West to the Dirty South. Worldz Finest Enterprises is now set to make it’s impact on the industry, representing hip-hop the way it was meant to be! These landmarks will help to set the stage for W.F.Es growth and success. Worldz Finest will raise the standard for hip-hop taking it to the next level! A.L.I.A.S. will lead the charge to represent Hip-Hop to the fullest!
W.F.E. plans to grow and forge ahead with the advancement of technology. The internet will enable us to promote, market, and sell our products and services continuously. The products being made available will be CDs, tapes, performances, t-shirts, and associated periphenilia. The personnel involved all have years of experience and outstanding talent in their fields. Collectively they will help to make W.F.E. truly the worlds finest independent label for music. What makes W.F.E. unique is that we focus on the art. We place the music first in making all business decisions. We remember that music is an art first and foremost.
While the business side is ran by business people. The art side is ran by artists. Unlike most other record labels who approach their music from solely a business aspect (which we feel is important), we must always remember that what sells records is not business or promotion but ultimately the music. If the music is good then in a sense it will sell itself. In addition, W.F.E. believes that it has an outstanding logo. The worlds finest emblem is simple yet says it all. W.F.E. provides the Hottest Music on Earth! We want to make this emblem synonymous with good music. This logo will be at the forefront of all our promotions. World’s Finest for the new millennium!
A.L.I.A.S. presently plays periodically throughout Atlanta. You can catch him on Wednesday’s at Blues in the Alley at the Underground. Friday nights he can be seen at the Mambo Room on Peachtree above Bridgetown Grill near the Fox theatre. And on Sunday’s at Copeland’s on Piedmont Rd near Peachtree!
A.L.I.A.S. is a versatile artist with influences from every good song ever made whether Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Blues, Rock ‘n Roll, Jazz or Alternative! A.L.I.A.S.’ primary influences is his life experiences. He likes to get into a zone and create whatever style of music manifests from that vibe! Loves to listen to ‘70’s soul music like Stevie Wonder, Commodores, Gladys Knight & The Pips, Earth Wind & Fire and the Jackson 5. Hip-Hop tastes are Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang, Biggie, Tupac, Ludacris, Dr. Dre and every great song!
